Desyate Kvitnya (The Tenth of April)

“DESYATE KVITNYA” (“THE TENTH OF APRIL”) is an independent, humanitarian, non-governmental and non-profit organisation, which is based in Odessa, Ukraine. Our main goal is contributing to development of civil society and strengthening the rule of law in Ukraine. The Organisation was founded on August 01, 2012, and was named after the date of birth of the prominent Dutch legal scholar Hugo Grotius. The Organisation was created by the efforts of like-minded human rights activists with professional experience of over 10 years and a particular expertise in refugee rights protection. 
The Organisation provides free legal aid and a limited scope of social assistance to such vulnerable groups as asylum seekers, refugees, internally displaced people, stateless persons and Roma people. The Ogranisation’s activities also include monitoring of human rights protection in Ukraine, cooperation with other stakeholders, and capacity-building actions. Our overall aim is solving the most challenging human rights problems.

HIAS Europe stands for a world where refugees find safety, opportunity, and welcome. Guided by Jewish values and history, we manage humanitarian programming worldwide and support European Jewish organisations and activists in their efforts to welcome and integrate refugees. We add a Jewish voice to discussions on humanitarian, development and forced migration issues, especially vis-a-vis the European institutions and European governments.

International Foundation for Health and Environmental Protection “Region Karpat” (NEEKA)

International Foundation for Health and Environment Protection "Region Karpat" (the abbreviation in Hungarian is NEEKA) is the international charitable organization, created in 1996 and registered in 1998 as a legal entity in Zakarpattya region, Ukraine. Since that time NEEKA contributed to the development of health protection, medical assistance to the population, social protection for persons with vulnerabilities, and as one of the key direction -free legal aid and partially social assistance to such vulnerable groups as asylum seekers, refugees, stateless persons and Roma people. Our NGO has a well-established cooperation and relationship with government bodies at the local and central levels, as well as with other civil society institutions involved into this scope.

Right to Protection

Right to Protection is a Ukrainian not-for profit organization operating in close partnership with the global NGO HIAS, one of the world’s oldest refugee aid organizations. Like HIAS, R2P is dedicated to protecting refugees who find themselves in Ukraine due to dire circumstances. Additionally, R2P ensures the protection and human rights of other vulnerable migrants - the internally displaced, the stateless and those at risk of statelessness and the undocumented.
