ENS is looking for a Research and Policy Volunteer

18 January 2018
The European Network on Statelessness

The European Network on Statelessness (ENS) is seeking a Research and Policy Volunteer. We are currently working with our members on an exciting new project to develop and pilot a Europe-wide Statelessness Index. We are seeking a Volunteer to help us gather and review legal information for the Index, and assist with other tasks related to our Research and Policy function. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone wishing to develop legal research and policy advocacy experience working in a busy NGO office, and contribute to our mission. This opportunity would particularly suit those with a legal background.

Time commitment and duration

We are flexible, but we are ideally looking for someone who can commit to a couple of days a week (Monday to Thursday) for a minimum of 3 months from March 2018.

How to Apply

Please send your CV together with a one-page covering letter clearly describing why you want to volunteer with ENS and what skills, knowledge and qualities you would bring to the team, along with a short writing example (in English) to nina.murray@statelessness.eu by Wednesday 7 February. Please put ‘Research and Policy Volunteer’ in the subject line.

Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we won’t be able to reply individually to all applicants or provide feedback on applications not shortlisted. We will invite those shortlisted to an informal interview on Tues 20 or Wed 21 February.
