No child chooses to be stateless

Every child belongs – to this world, to a place and to a community – and this should be recognised through the enjoyment of a nationality. Regretfully, children are still being born in Europe without a nationality. ENS is running a region-wide campaign #StatelessKids to raise awareness and promote measures to ensure that all children born in Europe or to European parents outside the region can in practice realise their right to a nationality.

This meeting will include presentations on the role of key stakeholders in addressing childhood statelessness and responses from key European Parliamentarians.

Please RSVP to Rachel Sheppard at by 24 November. If you need an access badge to enter the parliament, please include your full name, date of birth, nationality, ID number and type of document (passport/ID card)
