We are pleased to announce an event in Vienna on Thursday 27 July to launch a new joint ENS/DLA Piper/Diakonie report ‘No Child Should be Stateless in Austria’. This report was initiated under the auspices of our #StatelessKids campaign, and forms part of ongoing advocacy at a pan-regional level aimed at ending childhood statelessness. To realise children’s right to a nationality in Europe, the phenomenon and the challenges need to be better understood. Different stakeholders must also unite to identify and share good practices so that these challenges can be better addressed. This event is intended to raise awareness and to facilitate such a discussion as well as to agree upon relevant strategies and next steps in Austria.
