The European Network on Statelessness is recruiting a Policy & Advocacy Officer to work at the forefront of one of the most pressing human rights issues. The successful candidate will contribute to our work to monitor, inform, and promote effective law, policy, and practice across the region as it impacts on diverse stateless people and those at risk of statelessness.
Working closely with the Head of Policy & Research and Legal Policy Officer, the Policy & Advocacy Officer will work on projects addressing a wide range of issues relating to people affected by statelessness and nationality problems in Europe. They will conduct legal and/or policy analysis, draft policy papers and submissions, represent ENS at advocacy meetings and events, and contribute to the work of the team in other areas, such as training and capacity-building, campaigning, and community engagement.
