This report presents the problem of child statelessness in Poland and analyses its current scope and causes. The paper shows clearly that Poland is lacking a systemic approach to the problem of statelessness, particularly in relation to children. The country is not a state party to either of the two main international conventions concerning the problem of statelessness (Convention relating to the Status of Stateless Persons of 1954 and Convention on the Reduction of Statelessness of 1961).
