Conference report

On 4-5 May 2017, ENS brought together in Budapest, 115 civil society actors, lawyers, government officials, academics, and international agencies from across Europe to discuss and find ways to protect stateless people from arbitrary detention. Marking the launch of a major campaign - #LockedInLimbo – and report, the culmination of three years of research on the issue, the event provided a platform for the exchange of ideas and search for solutions, shining a light on this often-hidden violation of human rights in Europe. Here you can download the Conference Report summarising the discussions and commitments made over the two days.
