As part of our #RomaBelong project, with support from the EU–Council of Europe Roma Integration Phase III programme, we produced this paper on North Macedonia in partnership with Macedonian Young Lawyers Association (MYLA).
In recent years, significant efforts have been undertaken to address the issue of statelessness in North Macedonia. However, there remain some important legal and policy gaps.
This paper provides a clear and evidenced analysis of the current situation in Nortn Macedonia and outlines actionable steps to close these gaps.
