In November 2025, Statefree and the European Network on Statelessness organised a joint conference dedicated to advancing the recognition of and opportunities for systemic solutions for stateless people in Germany and across Europe, bringing together over 100 guests each day: community members, civil society, organisations, politicians, institutions, media and allies in Berlin.
Over the course of three days, we shared lived and learned expertise, imagined innovative strategies for change, and strengthened our collective knowledge to tackle statelessness in Europe.
There were many highlights, from new connections made, to insightful discussions; to tangible asks and recommendations, and new opportunities to collaborate, enriched by music, dance and poetry.
